About the author

William A. Amor, NCARB, AIA, Professional Member of the ICBO, is a licensed architect in the States of Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Idaho, Illinois, Michigan, Nevada, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, Ohio, Oregon, and Washington.

William received his Master's Degree in Architecture from the University of Michigan in 1983 and operates his educational division through his office in Fullerton, California.
During his career as an architect, he has gained experience in a wide variety of architectural projects, including ten-story high-rises and fifty-thousand square-foot commercial projects. His experience also includes two major historical renovations, one of which received a masonry design award.

While William currently is practicing forensic architecture, he is also is a State Certified Instructor and has previously taught architecture full-time for several years at a local college.
In addition, William has specialized in educating architectural-board-exam candidates from all over the world part-time for more than ten years.

He has spent hundreds of hours researching architectural codes and contacting governmental agencies, university and college educators, architects, engineers, successful candidates, technical organizations, and the NCARB/A.R.E./CAB to collect and organize information relevant to the exams.
